About The Art List
The Art List New York City is an independent guide to figure drawing, painting, and sculpture in New York City, connecting artists, models, and studios across the city.
There are dozens of places where artists can draw from the figure, paint from a model, work in clay, study anatomy, or simply spend an evening making art alongside other people. But finding them isn’t always easy. Figure drawing sessions, art classes, workshops, and open studios are scattered across individual studio websites, social media pages, and word of mouth.
The Art List brings them together in one place.
Here you’ll find a growing list of figure drawing studios, art classes, modeling opportunities, workshops, and events in New York City — for artists, models, and anyone interested in working from the figure.
